Into The Woods Tickets

The musical, “Into the Woods” blends familiar Grimm Brother’s fairy tale characters, and interjects them with an original tale. The show debuted at San Diego’s Old Globe Theater in 1986. It made its trek east opened on Broadway on November 5, 1987 at the Martin Beck Theater. The show won several Tony Awards among including ‘Best Score’ by Broadway great Stephen Sondheim and ‘Best Book’ by James Lapine. Beside the tried and true characters we all have known and loved, the main plot of Into the Woods,” focuses on a childless baker and his spouse. They are seeking a way to reverse a curse that has made them remain childless. As would be in any Grimm’s classic, the baker and his wife discover their well-deserved ‘Happily Evert After.’
